Products are the highest level of organization in your setup project.  Dividing your project into products helps you lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) by allowing you to build product-specific flavors and versions of your application on the fly.

Currently, InstallShield allows you to create only one product for each setup project.  The ability to add additional products and associate setup items with individual products will be available in future versions.

A default product is created for you when you start a new setup project.  This product is displayed under the Products folder when you click on the Project shortcut in the Workspace viewbar.  To rename this product, right-click on its icon and select Rename.
